This directory lists the GoodFood.SG pages that group eating shops and restaurants by various areas, or specific places and locations. If you know the specific place or road name such as 'Joo Chiat' or 'Geylang', click on that page's link. If not, choose a wider zone, for example, the 'East' zone.
ZonesClick on the different parts of the Singapore map below to see the listings for that Zone. Zones are defined generally by cardinal directions or positions, and are bigger in size than the Areas (see below). Zones often overlap at the edges with bordering zones, and so are more inclusive. The term "City", as used here, refers to the central business and shopping districts including Chinatown, Orchard Road, Little India, Marina areas, Beach Road, Shenton Way, Raffles Place and River Valley Road.
City-Central :- This is the area at the southern tip of mainland Singapore. It includes places like Tanjong Pagar, Raffles Place and Chinatown. Other places and roads included are the Havelock Road area, the Tiong Bahru Road area and surroundings of Redhill and Jalan Bukit Merah. A combination of densely populated residential and business buildings in this district inevitably gives it one of the highest concentration of low to high-end eateries in Singapore !
City-East :- The east of the city covers locations like Lavender Street, Jalan Besar, Beach Road, the Jalan Sultan area as well as the heritage district of Little India.
City-North :- This area includes places around the northern edge of the central business and shopping district. It includes Orchard Road, the Newton Road area, Balestier Road as well as the HDB township of Toa Payoh.
City-West :- This zone covers the locations around the western perimeter of the city centre. Places and roads include the Pasir Panjang area, South Buona Vista, Commonwealth Avenue, Dover Road, Ghim Moh estate, Tanglin Road and the expatriates' favourite enclave of Holland Village.
West :- The West zone extends from the western edge of the city centre to the western end of Singapore. Roads and places range from Commonwealth to Clementi to Jurong and Tuas.
Northwest :- The Northwest zone covers places like Bukit Panjang area, Bukit Batok town, Choa Chu Kang town, the Upper Bukit Timah area, Yew Tee and the Kranji area.
Central :- Included in the Central part of Singapore are the major HDB towns like Toa Payoh, Bishan and Ang Mo Kio. The major roads included are Upper Thomson Road, as well as Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road.

East :- The East zone comprises many interesting areas. Famous are the Katong and Joo Chiat districts. Major roads in this zone are New Upper Changi Road, which runs through the Kembangan residential estate and Bedok HDB housing estate, and Geylang Road (one-way westwards towards the city) which runs parallel to Sims Avenue (one-way eastwards away from the city).
AreasAreas refer to specific places that are well-known and associated with a road name or town name.
Geylang :- The famous Geylang Road area, includes its own road namesake, Sims Avenue and Guillemard Road areas. Geylang is as famous for its late-night food as it is for being the homeground of the world's oldest profession - it is one of, if not, the biggest night-life and red light district in Singapore.
Toa Payoh :- Food shops and eating places found in and around the central HDB town of Toa Payoh.
Ang Mo Kio :- Ang Mo Kio town is located north of Bishan estate and bounded by Sembawang Road to the west and Yishun to the North. Here are the food stalls and eating places located in and around Ang Mo Kio.

Traditionally a Peranakan/Nonya (or Straits-born Chinese) enclave, this area is filled with old 2-storey shophouses and almost all of the eateries are found on the first floors of these shophouses. Parking along the main roads of Joo Chiat Road and East Coast Road may be difficult during weekends and dinner times, but there are several URA carparks and, if you're willing to walk a bit, many side roads and lanes with parking lots as well.
